Rajasthan CM Announces ₹6,774 Diwali Bonus for 6 Lakh Government Employees | Full Details Inside

In a festive announcement ahead of Diwali 2025, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma declared an ad hoc bonus for nearly 6 lakh state government employees, calling it a special Diwali gift for those serving under lower pay levels.

💰 ₹6,774 Diwali Bonus for Eligible State Employees

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma confirmed that government staff working under pay level L-12 or with a grade pay of ₹4,800 or below will receive the Diwali bonus.

Each eligible employee will get a maximum ad hoc bonus of ₹6,774, aimed at appreciating their contribution and supporting them during the festive season.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), CM Sharma wrote:

“Special Gift for State Government Employees on the Occasion of Diwali! Our government, committed to good governance, has approved an ad hoc bonus for nearly 6 lakh employees across Rajasthan.”

He further mentioned that this benefit will also apply to employees of Panchayat Samitis and District Councils across the state.

🏛️ Bonus Announced Alongside Major State Events

The announcement came a day after CM Sharma inspected preparations in Jaipur for Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit. Shah will inaugurate a special exhibition on India’s new criminal laws, held from October 13 to 18.

The event marks one year since the implementation of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, which replaced the colonial-era IPC, CrPC, and Evidence Act on July 1, 2024.

⚖️ New Criminal Laws: From Punishment to Justice

The exhibition, themed “Secure Society, Developed India – From Punishment to Justice,” reflects the government’s vision to modernize India’s judicial system and focus on justice delivery rather than punishment.

Director General of Police (DGP) Rajeev Sharma urged citizens to attend the exhibition for better awareness.

“Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the exhibition on new criminal laws. We encourage the public to visit and understand the changes made under these landmark laws,” said DGP Sharma.

🎉 Rajasthan’s Festive Gesture for Employees

The Diwali bonus announcement showcases the Rajasthan government’s effort to recognize and reward its workforce, ensuring a festive boost for thousands of families across the state.

With this step, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma reinforces his government’s focus on employee welfare, administrative transparency, and people-centric governance during one of India’s most celebrated festivals.
